I wish

I wish I wasn't so dumb,
I wish I wasn't so shy,
I wish I could open up,
I wish I could tell you everything,
I wish I could I really do,
But how can I?

How can I let you see me,
How can I open up,
How can I be brave,
When I feel thats not enough.

To show my true self,
I'm afraid you won't like it,
To show my scars that may never heal,
I'm afraid you'll leave,
To let you know all I've been through,
I'm afraid I'll lose the most important piece in my life.

I know sometimes wishes don't come true but still,
I'll sit here wishing and hopeing that one day,
I can tell you everything,
show you everything,
and not be afraid.

One day when I'm more confident,
When I believe in myself more,
and know that everything will be okay.

I wish for one thing right now,
I wish for one day to come soon.
